Enrico Baj was an influential Italian artist and writer born in Milan. He co-founded the Nuclear Art movement in 1951 and was associated with the Surrealist, Dada, and CoBrA movements. Known for his grotesque figures and political engagement, he often used found objects in his work, such as his famous series of 'Generals'. He was also aligned with the anarchist movement and was appointed Analogic Emperor by the College of Pataphysics.
