Mikhael Subotzky is a Johannesburg-based artist who graduated from the Michaelis School of Fine Art in 2004. His work often engages critically with the politics of representation, social narratives, and the instability of images. He is a member of Magnum Photos and has published several books, including 'Beaufort West' and 'Ponte City'.
