Andrea Joyce Heimer is a painter whose narrative-based work explores themes of loneliness and autobiographical experiences, including her upbringing as an adopted child in Montana. She earned an MFA from the New Hampshire Institute of Art and has taught at institutions such as the Oregon College of Art and Craft and Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Her work has been exhibited internationally and recognized with awards including the Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters & Sculptors Grant.
