Chema Alvargonzalez was a multidisciplinary artist who lived and worked between Barcelona and Berlin. He was a student of Rebecca Horn and was deeply influenced by the fall of the Berlin Wall and the themes of globalization and technology. He founded the GlogauAIR art residency in Berlin in 2006.
