Ben Steele was born in Kennewick, Washington, and later moved to Utah. He earned a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of Utah in 2002 and furthered his training through the Helper Workshops under David Dornan and Paul Davis. Known for his versatile style that blends classical techniques with pop culture and art history, he is often described as an 'art chameleon' whose work spans portraiture, landscape, and still life.
