Judy Pfaff is a pioneering artist born in London who moved to the United States as a child. She is widely recognized for her large-scale, site-specific installations that transform architectural spaces into complex, lyrical environments using diverse materials. A recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship and an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, she has had a long career as both an artist and an educator, notably at Bard College.
