Attila Kovács was a Hungarian-born artist who emigrated to West Germany in 1964. He is recognized for developing a unique artistic language he termed 'Frame of Reference' or 'Transmuting Plasticity,' which utilized non-Euclidean sequential geometric abstraction based on mathematical coordinates.
