Thomas Riess is an Austrian artist born in Tyrol who lives and works in Vienna and Innsbruck. He studied at the University Mozarteum Salzburg from 1995 to 2001. His work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including the Kunsthaus Zürich, Museum der Moderne Salzburg, and the 55th Venice Biennale.
