Pegeen Vail Guggenheim was a painter known for her work combining surrealism and naïve art. She was the daughter of art collector Peggy Guggenheim and writer Laurence Vail. Raised in Europe and later the United States, she exhibited her work internationally and was associated with avant-garde circles in Paris and Venice.
