Geoffrey Humphries is a renowned English figurative painter who has lived and worked in Venice, Italy, since 1966. He studied at the High Wycombe School of Art, the London College of Printing, the Chelsea College of Art and Design, and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. Known for his mastery of portraiture and his vibrant use of color, his studio on the Giudecca Canal serves as a center for music and the arts. He is also an accomplished blues guitarist and frequently exhibits his work in the United States.
