Born in East Jerusalem and based in London, Larissa Sansour is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores themes of Palestinian identity, displacement, inherited trauma, and political history through the lens of science fiction and documentary. She studied fine arts in Copenhagen, London, and New York, and represented Denmark at the 58th Venice Biennale in 2019.
