Nanna Abell is a Danish visual artist who works primarily with sculpture and wall installations. Born in Copenhagen, she received her MFA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2013. Abell is known for combining and manipulating everyday materials, creating surprising juxtapositions that explore the intersection of physical objects and digital alteration. Her work often makes humorous references to the absent body and human perception. She lives and works in Vordingborg, Denmark.
