Clovis Graciano was a Brazilian artist born in Araras who became a prominent member of the Grupo Santa Helena. Throughout his career, he remained faithful to figurativism, focusing on social themes. He worked as a clerk before dedicating himself to art, and later served as the director of the São Paulo State Pinacotheca and president of the São Paulo State Board for Visual Arts.
