Almir Mavignier (1925–2018) was a Brazilian artist who studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm, Germany. His work was significantly influenced by Max Bense’s aesthetics of information and Josef Albers’s color theory, and he is primarily associated with Op Art.
