Agnès Varda was a Belgian-born French filmmaker, photographer, and installation artist. A key figure in the French New Wave, she directed acclaimed films such as 'Cléo from 5 to 7' and 'The Gleaners and I'. Her career spanned over six decades, and she was recognized with numerous awards, including an honorary Oscar.
