André Cadere was a Polish-born Romanian artist best known for his 'Barres de bois rond' (round wooden bars), which he carried into public spaces and exhibitions to challenge the traditional structures of the art world. His work focused on repetition, mobility, and error, and he was a significant figure in the Conceptual Art movement before his death in 1978.
