DESCRIPTION
Tekla Aslanishvili is an artist, filmmaker, and essayist based between Berlin and Tbilisi. Her work explores the intersection of infrastructural design, history, and geopolitics, often using interdisciplinary and experimental documentary approaches. She is a graduate of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and the Berlin University of the Arts, and has received numerous honors including the Han Nefkens Foundation – Fundació Antoni Tàpies Video Art Production Award.
