DESCRIPTION

Tao Leigh Goffe is an award-winning writer, theorist, and interdisciplinary artist born in London who grew up between the UK and New York. She holds a Ph.D. in American Studies from Yale University and an A.B. in English from Princeton University. Currently an associate professor at Hunter College, CUNY, she specializes in the intersections of climate, race, empire, and technology. She is the founder and executive director of the Dark Laboratory and the author of the book 'Dark Laboratory: On Columbus, the Caribbean, and the Origins of the Climate Crisis'.
