Marc Adrian was an Austrian avant-garde artist and filmmaker, often cited as the father of Austrian media art. He was associated with the Wiener Gruppe and the neo-avant-garde movements ZERO and Neue Tendenzen. His work spanned sculpture, Op Art, and experimental film, and he was a pioneer in using the computer as an artistic medium.
