Jurgen Ots

DESCRIPTION

Jurgen Ots is a Belgian visual artist whose practice explores the boundaries between sculpture, installation, and printing. Born in Dendermonde, he studied at Sint-Lukas University College of Art. Ots frequently utilizes found objects and archival materials, often gleaned from flea markets, which he deconstructs and reassembles. His work is guided by the alchemical motto of dissolving and coagulating, transforming worn materials into new synthetic organizations and frozen objects.
