Emilio Isgrò is an Italian artist, poet, and writer born in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, Sicily. He is internationally renowned for his signature 'erasure' technique, which involves striking out words in printed texts. He moved to Milan in his youth and has been a significant figure in the development of visual poetry and conceptual art since the 1960s.
