Born in Kuwait, Ibrahim Ahmed spent his childhood in Bahrain and Egypt before moving to the US. He later relocated to Cairo. His work explores colonial legacies, structures of power, cultural interactions, and fluid identity through the manipulation of materials, particularly textiles.
