Guillermo Galindo is an experimental composer, sonic architect, and visual artist whose work explores the intersections of music, politics, humanitarian issues, and spirituality. He holds degrees from the Escuela Nacional de Música, Berklee College of Music, and Mills College. His practice spans orchestral compositions, opera, and the creation of 'cyber-totemic' sonic sculptures, often utilizing found objects. He is well known for his collaborative project 'Border Cantos' with photographer Richard Misrach.
