Callum Innes is a Scottish abstract painter known for his process-oriented work, which often involves applying and then removing paint from the canvas using turpentine to create luminous, meditative compositions. He studied at Gray's School of Art and Edinburgh College of Art, and has been recognized with nominations and awards including the Turner Prize shortlist and the Jerwood Painting Prize.
