Billy Benn Perrurle was an Indigenous Australian artist from the Harts Range in the Northern Territory. He worked in mining and cattle stations before becoming a key figure at the Bindi Art Centre in Alice Springs, where he helped establish the Mwerre Anthurre artist collective. His work, often painted on discarded boards, is noted for its sophisticated depiction of light and space in the Australian landscape.
