Peter Dreher was a German artist and academic teacher known for his realistic and figurative style, often opposing abstract trends of the 1950s and 1960s. He is best known for his series 'Tag um Tag guter Tag' (Day by Day, Good Day), in which he painted the same water glass over 5,000 times. He taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, where he influenced artists such as Anselm Kiefer.
