DESCRIPTION
Horst Antes is a German artist and sculptor known as one of the founders of the New Figuration movement. He studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe under HAP Grieshaber and later taught there. He is widely recognized for his 'Kopffüßler' (Head-Footer) motif, which he developed around 1960.
