Ruth-Marion Baruch was a German-born American photographer known for her documentation of the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1960s, including her collaborative work with Pirkle Jones on the Black Panther Party and the hippies of Haight-Ashbury. She studied under influential photographers such as Ansel Adams, Minor White, and Dorothea Lange at the California School of Fine Arts.
