Ayrson Heráclito is a Brazilian artist, curator, and professor born in Macaúbas, Bahia. He holds a PhD in Communication and Semiotics from PUC-SP and teaches at the Federal University of the Recôncavo of Bahia. His artwork and research focus on elements of Afro-Brazilian culture, ritualistic practices, and the African diaspora, utilizing media such as photography, installation, and performance.
