Daniel Senise is a Brazilian contemporary artist born in 1955 in Rio de Janeiro. After earning a civil engineering degree in 1980, he studied at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage (EAV), where he later taught. His painting practice explores the balance and weight of space alongside the presence and absence of objects, often incorporating fabrics, iron dust, lead, and floor impressions.
