Amelia Toledo (1926–2017) was a Brazilian artist who began studying visual arts in the late 1930s. In 1948, she worked as a project designer in the architecture studio of Vilanova Artigas. Her multifaceted practice spanned sculpture, painting, and printmaking, transitioning in the 1970s from constructive geometric elements to organic forms.
