Peter Buggenhout was born in 1963 in Dendermonde, Belgium, and lives and works in Ghent. Initially trained in painting, he transitioned in the early 1990s to sculpture, creating large-scale assemblages and installations from abject matter, industrial debris, dust, and organic materials.
