Painting, sculpture, and printmaking
Jean Dubuffet (1901–1985) was a French artist who coined the term 'Art Brut' to champion raw artistic expression created outside mainstream culture. Rejecting conventional notions of beauty, he experimented extensively with natural and industrial materials, creating a diverse body of paintings, assemblages, and sculptures.
