Frans Krajcberg (1921–2017) was a Polish-born Brazilian artist and environmentalist. After losing his family in World War II, he studied art in Germany before immigrating to Brazil in 1948. He became renowned for creating sculptures from salvaged tree trunks and roots, using art as a vehicle for environmental activism and ecological consciousness.
