Robert Delaunay was a French painter who, alongside his wife Sonia Delaunay and others, co-founded the Orphism art movement. Originating a vibrant, color-driven branch of Cubism, he was known for incorporating geometric shapes and radiant colors into abstract and modernist compositions featuring motifs such as the Eiffel Tower.
