Moffat Takadiwa is a Zimbabwean contemporary artist born in Hurungwe who lives and works in Harare. Graduating from Harare Polytechnic in 2008, he creates sculptures and tapestry-like wall installations out of post-consumer waste such as computer keyboard keys, plastic bottle caps, and toothbrush heads. His practice addresses colonialism, consumerism, Korekore heritage, and the environment. He is also a co-founder of the Mbare Art Space in Harare.
