Alice Quaresma is a Brazilian artist born in Rio de Janeiro. She earned her MFA from Pratt Institute in 2009. Her practice engages with photography, using personal archive images and reworking them with geometry, colored layering, and painting to challenge objectivity and explore memory. Her works have received honors such as the Foam Talent Prize (2014) and the Aperture Foundation Summer Open Prize (2019).
