Eustáquio Neves is a self-taught photographer born in Juatuba, Minas Gerais, who previously studied chemistry before turning full-time to photography. Since the late 1980s, his work has focused on the historical and social fractures of Afro-diasporic presence in Brazil through photo essays, darkroom manipulations, and experimental video.
