Efrain Almeida was a Brazilian visual artist and sculptor known for his intimate, small-scale works in wood and bronze. His practice frequently incorporated watercolors and explored themes of sexuality, religion, nature, and personal identity. Drawing from his childhood in Northeastern Brazil, Almeida's art blended popular culture, Catholic iconography, and autobiographical elements.
