Sasha Braulov was born in Leningrad in 1987 and graduated from the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg State University. In 2014, he co-founded the home decor design studio 52 FACTORY with Nastya Kopteva. His artistic work frequently incorporates embroidery.
