Carolina Aguirre is an Argentine-British interdisciplinary artist born in Santiago, Chile. Based in London, her practice spans painting, sculpture, film, and installation. Aguirre explores themes of belonging, environmentalism, identity politics, and migration through an autoethnographic lens. Her mythopoetic works often incorporate natural materials such as sumi ink, charcoal, and shellac to evoke geographical formations. She holds an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art.
