Lutz Bacher (1943–2019) was an American conceptual artist who lived and worked in Berkeley and New York. Operating under a male pseudonym beginning in the 1970s, she created installations, photography, videos, and texts utilizing cultural detritus, found objects, and popular culture to explore identity, sexuality, and human presence.
