DESCRIPTION
Hsu Yu-Jen was born in 1951 in Tainan, Taiwan. He graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting at the National Academy of Arts in 1975 and studied under Li Chun-Shan. Known for his "fine broken-line" technique, his work integrates traditional ink brushwork with contemporary concepts and Eastern philosophies such as the I Ching and geomancy.
