Alexandra Barth was born in Malacky, Slovakia, and received her degree from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava in 2013. Currently living and working in Sanguinetto, Italy, her paintings explore domestic spaces, middle-class material culture, and everyday furnishings, reflecting the tension between Soviet-era architectural order and decorative domesticity.
