Alexander Brodsky is a Russian architect and sculptor known as a key figure in the Moscow Conceptualist 'paper architecture' movement. After studying at the Moscow Architectural Institute, he collaborated for two decades with Ilya Utkin creating elaborate, etching-based conceptual architectural designs. In 2000, he founded his own architectural practice in Moscow and has exhibited widely in international institutions and biennials, including representing Russia at the 2006 Venice Biennale.
