DESCRIPTION
Małgorzata Mirga-Tas is a Polish-Romani visual artist, sculptor, painter, educator, and activist born in Zakopane in 1978. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków with a degree in sculpture and became the first Roma artist to represent any country at the Venice Biennale with her 2022 Polish pavilion installation Re-enchanting the World.
