DESCRIPTION
Siji Krishnan is an Indian artist born in Kerala and based in Kochi. She earned her MFA from the Sarojini Naidu School of Fine Arts in 2007. Inspired by her upbringing and the concept of 'vasudhaiva kutumbakam' ('the world is one family'), her paintings depict intimate narratives of family and nature, often embedding scenes within delicate layers of rice paper and washes of subtle hues.
