Skawennati is a Kahnawà:ke Mohawk artist based in Montreal who explores Indigenous history and future perspectives through digital media. She is a pioneer of machinima—films made in virtual environments—and co-founded the research-creation network Aboriginal Territories in Cyberspace (AbTeC).
