DESCRIPTION
Flora Ranis is a sculptor and storyteller originally from the Florida Everglades. A graduate of Yale University, her work examines the tensions between human bodies and the built environment. She specializes in metalworking and stone carving, reorienting industrial materials into hand-crafted, fluid forms that explore themes of new materialism and ecological connectivity.
