Dominick Cocozza is a Maya Tz’utujil and Guatemalan American painter based in Queens, New York. He earned his BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2024. His work is deeply autobiographical, exploring themes of transracial adoption, Indigenous ancestry, and cultural reclamation, often featuring Guatemalan doll figures as active subjects in his narratives.
